People Need
a Hand Up

In Northern Uganda, there are desperate souls out on the fringes of society, unable to access existing services. Some are severely diseased, disabled, or trapped in harsh circumstances without hope of a better future. Faced with this, doing nothing is not an option.

We have a burden to help the most vulnerable,
providing physical resources that give them a hand up.

Areas We Cover:

1. Medical Care

Nodding Syndrome leaves children in need of 24/7 care. While this is our main target, we provide medical care and facilitate the distribution of medicines in and around our centers.

2. Food & Clothing Aid

We supply basic necessities for families who care for disabled or diseased relatives. This helps stabilize them and brings hope into hopeless situations.

3. Personal Development

We envision vocational training opportunities that include startup materials to move families from daily survival to real sustainability.

Journey Centers don’t just help physically.

We’re working hard to meet the physical needs of the most vulnerable. And with our Salvation Sheds, everyone we help has an opportunity to meet Jesus Christ. We believe the best help is wholistic, caring for the eternal state of each individual God has created.
