Nkose Island Salvation Shed

This picture marks an exciting moment in time: Journey International, Bold Ventures and the local church joining together at the location they are currently praying from. Journey International is beyond blessed to announce Nkose Island, located in Lake Victoria, as the site where we will begin to construct the first Salvation Shed under this ministry!

A BOLD collaboration

We are so blessed to partner with Bold Ventures on this Journey. We look forward to watching this church grow. Reaching not only their own Island, but other Islands in Lake Victoria as well. With training programs for pastors, leaders, missionaries, evangelists, as well as discipleship and sending out, this is a true investment into the Kingdom of God.

“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.”

1 Corinthians 12:27

What goes into a Salvation Shed?

Our “sheds” provide basic structures that can shelter the church. Brick foundations, poles, trusses, and a roof are the most expensive elements. This basic construction has the ability to get the church started. Once we’ve built these, the local church will add on walls, windows, doors, etc.

Faith fills the Salvation Sheds

When believers see the fulfillment of their prayers for basic shelter, they are filled with faith. In the past we have seen churches multiply four times their size in just months after finally settling into their new building. Many salvations, deliverances and healings are the result of these sheds being planted.

Collaboration in ministry is key

At Journey International we are searching for tangible ways to see the great commission fulfilled. We believe we can do this by stewarding your financial support well, and partnering where we can with other organizations.

We come alongside churches to boost the work they are already doing. Not only in the construction of a salvation shed, but also in prayer and evangelism. This type of networking brings about a strong bond between believers. It is effective in pushing back the darkness, and bringing in the light of Jesus.

We need you!

We have stepped out in faith to begin these construction projects; our prayer is that Salvation Sheds would be planted in Uganda, and wherever else the Lord may lead.

The church will always be the people, the shed is a place to gather them…

We hope you will pray about joining us in this first big step in constructing a Salvation Shed on Nkose Island. Give to Journey International today.
